We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help lead the technical direction of our CBAM compliance platform. You'll work directly with the founders and the engineering team, own large parts of the system end-to-end, and make the calls that shape how the product is built — what to build, how to build it, and just as importantly, what not to build yet. This is a role for someone who has shipped and run production systems, and who understands that most engineering decisions are trade-offs, not right answers.
You'll often start with a problem that isn't fully defined: a regulation still being interpreted in practice, a customer need that's only half-articulated, or a part of the system that has outgrown its original design. Your job is to make sense of it, propose a sensible path, and see it through. There's no large engineering org behind you and no layers of process to hide behind. You'll set the standard for the code, the architecture, and the engineering habits of the team around you — and you'll still be hands-on, writing a significant share of the code yourself. This is a full-time, fully remote position, open to candidates based in Egypt.
