We attended as an exhibitor at this year’s Glasgow event, “Tackling Our Climate Crisis Through Innovation and Collaboration”, organised by Fintech Tables and supported by various organisations, including Fintech Scotland.
The event was centred around the role of finance, technology, and data in creating the necessary infrastructure to deliver a sustainable future and in enabling businesses and individuals from various industries and disciplines to collaborate and facilitate change.
Throughout the day, different sessions were hosted, including a panel discussion on the role of technology and data in addressing the climate crisis and a fireside chat on the topics of financed emissions and a just transition for SMEs.
As the event took place just two days after the official beginning of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) transitional period, we seized the opportunity to introduce our upcoming platform and CBAM-related services, aimed at supporting companies in successfully navigating their EU CBAM-related obligations.
The event also provided an engaging platform for us to announce our recent collaboration with Climate TRACE and to discuss the benefits businesses can derive from leveraging Climate TRACE’s publicly-available data in the new EU CBAM context.
